Stahl (Japanese: ソール Sort) is a character in Fire Emblem Awakening. He is a cavalier, and, along with Sully, make the standard red-green cavalier duo. He has a kind and gentle personality and is a member of Chrom's vigilante forces, The Shepherds.

Stahl first appears in the second chapter of the game, arriving to the group late because Vaike did not notify him, and Stahl ended up missing breakfast in order to arrive as quick as he could. He becomes a deployable unit once the battle begins.

Stahl is one of the characters available to be summoned by players from the game's initial launch, and is also the last of twelve characters that are part of the game's Hero Battle rotation; as the last character in the Hero Battle rotation, Stahl is notably the most recently-released character to be available in one-star rarity. He was first made available via Hero Battle at 7:00 AM UTC on February 13, 2017 through 6:59 AM UTC on Feburary 14, 2017, and his Hero Battle has been available during the same time period every twelve days thereafter. Only one variation of Stahl is currently available in Heroes, based on his Awakening incarnation.

Personality and character

Calm and collected, Stahl is a character with a big heart and a big appetite. He has a great love for food, which tends to be the only thing he can think about at times. He also tends to oversleep and gets tired easily. However, Stahl is incredibly helpful, to the point where people end up taking advantage of his kindness, even his brother. Though Stahl does not mind this; he enjoys helping others even with the smallest of tasks. Stahl also tends to joke with his comrades, even calling Chrom an "old man" in his support conversation with Robin. The most eager to clean a plate.
