Triandra made several appearances as an enemy unit during the Book IV storyline.

Triandra eventually became playable as the game's fifteenth Mythic Hero, and as such became playable in a dedicated Mythic Hero update, and was made available for summoning as part of a summoning event released on November 27, 2020. Triandra became playable alongside Freyja, a departure from typical Mythic Hero practice; she is considered the fifteenth Mythic Hero due to being revealed before Freyja in their shared reveal trailer. A spring-themed variation of Triandra was added in the Spring Eternal update, and was first available to be summoned on March 6, 2023.
