Fire Emblem Heroes

Role

There are two different variations of this character available to Heroes between his two identities, one of which is based on his Inigo identity in Awakening, the other on his Laslow identity in Fates. His Laslow alias is one of the characters available to be summoned by players from the game's initial launch. A performing-arts variation of his Inigo identity was made available between the period of September 29, 2017 through October 30, 2017 as part of the focus surrounding the launch of the Performing Arts update; a normal variation of the Inigo identity has yet to feature in Heroes.

Personality and character

Inigo is a big-time womanizer. He loves to flirt with girls and women, but is almost always turned down because nobody takes him seriously; he's out at night more than anyone else in the army. He is friendly, cheerful and upbeat, and secretly dreams of becoming a dancer like his mother.

Trivia

  • As with the other children characters of Awakening, Inigo's birthday matches the Japanese release date of a Fire Emblem series game: August 7th was the release date of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon in 2008.
  • In the beginning of Paralogue 6, Inigo is seen saving a villager whom he calls "buttercup". This is a reference to the character Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride who similarly helps to save a princess named Buttercup through the use of his gallant swordplay.
  • If Chrom is Inigo's father, the latter will have the Mark of Naga in his right eye - opposite of his sister Lucina. He reveals this to Chrom in Inigo's paralogue if Chrom recruits him. Interestingly, the Mark does not appear in his critical cut-ins or confession scene, though it does not appear in Lucina's critical cut in either.
  • Inigo and Owain are the only child characters explicitly mentioned to have the Mark of Naga; it is never mentioned if Chrom and Lissa's other children have the Mark or not.
