Gunnthrá (Japanese: スリーズ Slíðr) is the eldest princess of Nifl, the younger sister of Hríd[1] and elder sister of Fjorm and Ylgr. She calls to the Summoner via telepathy to assist him/her.
Fire Emblem Heroes
Role
Gunnthrá is the elder princess of the ice kingdom Nifl. Her kingdom was destroyed by the fire kingdom Múspell, its king Surtr killing her mother. She is the first character specifically designed for Book II to chronologically appear in the storyline, appearing to the Summoner in a vision in second intermission of Book I to tell them of a hidden shrine in western Askr. She calls to the Summoner once more in Book II Chapter 3 to ask for the Order of Heroes to come to Nifl and aid them against Múspell.
There are three different variations of Gunnthrá available to Heroes, all of which are tied to her storyline appearance in Heroes. The normal variation of Gunnthrá is the game's second Legendary Hero after her younger sister Fjorm, and the fifth original character in the game to be playable; this variation of Gunnthrá is notably the first playable Heroes original to be neither a melee weapon user nor an infantry unit, and was made available for summoning as part of a summoning event released on December 28, 2017. A New Year's-themed variation of Gunnthrá was made available between the period of January 1, 2019 through February 1, 2019 as part of the summoning event surrounding the New Year's Wish update. A summer-themed variation of Gunnthrá was made available between the period of June 20, 2019 through August 9, 2019 as part of the summoning event surrounding the Summer Returns update.

Trivia
- Gunnthrá's position among her siblings appears to be disputed among official sources; hers and Hríd's Meet some of the Heroes pages state Hríd to be the oldest of the four,[1][2] but Heroes indicates Gunnthrá to be the oldest of the siblings with Hríd being the second-oldest.[3]
