A sword whose mighty blows offset its steep price.

First game

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light

The Silver Sword (Japanese: 銀の剣 Silver Sword) is a basic sword which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light and is present in every game in the Fire Emblem series. It is the last and strongest in the line of basic swords, surpassing the Iron and Steel Swords in might, but it requires a high weapon rank to use, and is much more expensive and usually has much lower durability than its weaker counterparts.
