Blizzard (Japanese: ブリザー Blizzar in the Archanea games, and ブリザード Blizzard in all other appearances) is a tome that has three distinct iterations.
The first iteration appears in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, Mystery of the Emblem and their DS remakes. In this appearance, Blizzard is a normal-ranged tome that, in Mystery of the Emblem only, deals bonus damage to Fire Dragons.
The second iteration made its first appearance in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, as a long-range tome, the wind counterpart to Bolting and Meteor. As with all other wind magic in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, it deals bonus damage to flying units.
The third iteration appears exclusively in Fire Emblem Heroes, and it does not have relation to either previous incarnation of the tome. It is a personal weapon of Gunnthrá, elder princess of the ice kingdom Nifl. In addition to granting the user a small Resistance boost, Blizzard increases the user's Attack by the total penalties on the target during combat.
