A King's Worth/Script
Gustav chastises Alfonse for taking the battlefield and allowing himself to get cursed by Hel, revealing that Hel slew his own father twenty years ago. He and Eir explain that there is no escape from Hel's curse, but Anna theorizes that killing Hel may break the curse. The Order of Heroes begins hunting for Hel, but to no avail. Eventually, nine days pass, and Hel arrives to claim Alfonse's life. Sharena and Anna's attacks prove ineffective, and they are helpless to stop Hel. However, Gustav appears and takes Hel's blow. He reveals that the curse targets the victim's bloodline, not the victim specifically. Gustav then leaves Askr in Alfonse's hands and is murdered by Hel.
