This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience.

Isadora is a level 1 Paladin who joins in Chapter 21 (Eliwood Mode) or Chapter 22 (Hector Mode). As expected from a unit who joins promoted, her bases are solid, but her growths are mediocre.

Isadora's main advantage is her Paladin class. The Paladin class is among the best promoted classes in the game. It has perfect weapon triangle control and very high movement. It also has access to 1-2 range weaponry, Canto, and rescue-dropping maneuvers. Isadora's base weapon ranks allow her to make good use of these traits. With an A-rank in swords, a B-rank in lances and a D-rank in axes, Isadora can use a huge arsenal of weapons at base. This allows her to adapt to enemies she fights and use the right weapon for every situation.

Isadora's main disadvantage is her low constitution. Almost every weapon she can wield also weighs her down by several points. Fortunately, her speed is high, so she can still double most enemies even if weighed down. That said, this flaw makes her worse at using 1-2 range weapons than a trained Kent or Sain. She also needs to use the right weapon for every situation, or else she may not double the enemy.

This makes using Isadora much more limiting than it seems. She can use many weapons, but she needs specific weapons to fight certain enemies well. The player must optimize her inventory so that she has a tool for every situation. If Isadora's inventory is not optimized, she can come short of one-rounding enemies. Either because she cannot double (due to weapon weight), or because her strength is too low.

Isadora's durability is also mediocre. Her offensive stats are good. 13 strength is comparable to a promoted Cavalier. 16 speed is more than enough to double every enemy when she joins. But 8 defense, 6 resistance and 28 HP are very low for a Paladin. By comparison, Marcus, who is available from the start of the game, has 10 defense, 8 resistance and 31 HP. Isadora joins with an Angelic Robe she can use to increase her bulk by 7, but other units can use it as well. She is not too frail to take a hit or two, but she compares poorly to units like Lowen, whose defenses are solid. This also makes it more risky to do enemy phase combat with Isadora. Isadora can dominate the player phase thanks to her arsenal of weapons and high speed. But once she cannot change her weapon to suit the situation, she can die if too many enemies hit her on enemy phase.

The best thing about Isadora is that no investment is required for her to contribute. She comes with battle-ready stats and high weapon ranks. She is prepared to use most weapons the player has access to. Having an extra paladin is always a good thing, considering how powerful the class is.

There are also ways to improve Isadora's combat at a low cost. If she receives the Body Ring, her constitution becomes comparable to Kent and Sain's. That makes it easier to take advantage of Isadora's high speed. She can also use the Angelic Robe she comes with, increasing her bulk by 7. As a frontline fighter, she is a good recipient of the Dracoshield and the Talisman as well. While her growths are mediocre, these investments can still increase Isadora's long-term potential.

Isadora, Escort of Pherae
As a knight of the imperial guard, Isadora served as guard to Lady Eleanora. She continued to study to be a lady up until she wed.

Isadora and Legault
After the war, Isadora went to Pherae, and Legault went to Bern. Though they traveled different paths, they stayed in each other's hearts. They met again ten years later, on the battlefield as enemies.

Harken and Isadora
They were married shortly after returning to Pherae. Their love grew during their years of service, and now it blossomed with the blessings of Eliwood and Eleanora. Many envied their good fortune.

Renault and Isadora
Renault simply vanished after the battle. Isadora, now alone, returned to Pherae as a member of the imperial guard. Years later, she entered the service of Elimine, hoping to find answers in the clergy.
