Diabolical Bloodline (Japanese: 憑神の血 Posessing spirit of blood) is Chapter 13 of Fire Emblem Heroes. This chapter is the final full chapter along Book I's main story path, and as such is the climax of the Book I storyline; in particular, it resolves the plot thread concerning Zacharias first brought up in part 5 of chapter 6.

This chapter was added to the game as part of an update released on September 15, 2017, alongside its featured characters, and a number of related quests, which were available until the Performing Arts update was released on September 29.

Trivia

• The name of the summoning event that accompanied this chapter's initial release is Dauntless Crimeans, which does not match the name of this chapter.
• Part 3 is the first part of a narrative chapter in the game where a non-generic character, in this case the Black Knight, appears as a reinforcement.
• Part 5 is the first part of a narrative chapter where a character variant other than their normal variation appears in a chapter other than the one added to the game in the same update the variant was, as well as the first part of a chapter along the main story path to include a non-normal character variant; the character variant in this case is the variant of Ike introduced in Brave Heroes.
• This chapter is the first one whose Chain Challenge became available on its own and not in conjunction with another chapter; as a result, this chapter's Chain Challenge can be challenged only as a single chapter and not in a pair of chapters.
  • This quirk in the Chain Challenge mechanic was the first hint toward the existence of Book II, which would number its chapters separately from Book I; this meant that Book I would not have a chapter 14 to pair with this chapter for a paired-chapter Chain Challenge.
