Personality and character
While normally seeming shy and timid, Noire seems to have a serious bipolar issue, with her entire personality changing at random points mid-conversation. When her personality changes, she acts more like her mother, seeming to be crazy and psychotic. Noire is aware of her split personality and admits to a female Morgan that she slips into her psychotic persona in order to get rid of stress.
When she isn't in the throes of raving madness, she is shy and relies for others to help her. She is even still uncomfortable with using the bathroom at night, and often asks Severa to go with her. Noire's shyness stemmed from Tharja using her as a guinea pig for her hexes. Despite this, Noire looks up to Tharja and wants to learn hexes from her to gain her approval.
Noire's split personality can be attributed to the talisman, a gift from Tharja, that she wears to help cope with her shy nature.

Endings
Noire, Miss Personality (single ending)
Noire stayed with her mother after the war as her assistant. Was she simply trying to protect her infant self from Tharja's curses? Or did Noire find solace with the woman who brought her into the world?
Robin, High Deliverer & Noire, Miss Personality
Many wrote of Robin's legendary exploits, but accounts of his origins and character varied. Scholars, poets, and bards agreed on one thing alone—he loved his wife, Noire, above all else.
Owain, Chosen One & Noire, Miss Personality
Owain set off on a lengthy quest with Noire to "stay his sword hand." Noire worried endlessly about what terrors her husband's sword hand might hold, but as it turned out, there were none.
Inigo, Flower Picker & Noire, Miss Personality
Inigo traveled the world, ever ready with a smile or a solution when trouble started to brew. For better or worse, he and Noire were said to be a good match, trading doses of glee for doses of glum.
Brady, Daunting Priest & Noire, Miss Personality
Brady left the priesthood to become the world's scariest violinist. Noire tried to talk him out of it for fear his divine talents as musician and composer would curse them both to an early grave.
Gerome, Masked Rider & Noire, Miss Personality
Gerome and Noire were married and settled down near Wyvern Valley. Noire was said to be nervous around the wyverns and rarely left her husband's side.
Morgan, Gift from Afar & Noire, Miss Personality
Morgan's memory never returned, but he didn't seem to miss it much and lived happily with Noire. Later, scholars would speculate he had come from a different future than the other children.
Yarne, Timid Taguel & Noire, Miss Personality
Yarne tried desperately to find a safe haven after the battles were done, but even that journey was fraught with danger...despite Noire's best attempts to steer them out of trouble.
Laurent, The Elucidator & Noire, Miss Personality
Longing to meet his mother's intellectual standards, Laurent took his wife on an expedition around the world. Noire seemed startled at first by many of their discoveries but knew she was in good hands.

Trivia
- As with the other children characters of Awakening, Noire's birthday matches the Japanese release date of a Fire Emblem series game: October 7th was the release date of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones in 2004.
- Noire is the only child character in Awakening with a dedicated paralogue who cannot engage in a conversation with either Chrom or their fixed parent (in this case, Tharja) in the chapter they are recruited in.
