Lost Bloodlines 2 (Japanese: 王対王 聖戦編 King vs. King: Holy War Chapter) is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening. As a xenologue chapter, it does not officially bear a chapter number; if all xenologues are purchased and its list is viewed at the Outrealm Gate, Lost Bloodlines 2 is the eighth one from the top in the North American version of the game. Officially in Japan and unofficially in North America, Lost Bloodlines 2 is part of the first series of DLC releases, a distinction that does not exist in the PAL regions.
This chapter was first made available on May 2, 2012 in Japan, March 7, 2013 in North America, and July 4-5 to the general public in the PAL regions. PAL region players who purchased the Lost Bloodlines Pack prior to Lost Bloodlines 2's offical release were able to play the chapter a week early.
In this chapter, the Archanean forces have regrouped and teamed up with forces from Valentia in an effort to beat back the Jugdrali forces. The Shepherds, whom the Jugdrali forces have been tricked into thinking they summoned, must fight back the combined might of Archanea and Valentia.

- Note: Any mentions of Tiki in this plot are in reference to the younger version in an Einherjar role, not to the adult version from the base game's storyline.
- Note: The mentions of Marth in this plot refer to Prince Marth of the War of Shadows, from Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and its remakes. Also on the map in this chapter as a separate unit is King Marth of the War of Heroes, from Book 2 of Mystery of the Emblem and its remake.
Old Hubba has noticed Chrom's return to the space between Outrealms, and reveals that it's just as he expected; Chrom asks Old Hubba if he and the Shepherds are headed for one of the Outrealms Old Hubba had talked about--with armies of Einherjar with minds of their own locked in some epic struggle. Old Hubba confirms and says the Shepherds'll have help in this battle--not himself, given his knee; Old Hubba reveals he's tricked one of the armies into thinking they summoned the Shepherds, to which Chrom shocked to find Old Hubba has resorted to underhanded tactics. Preparations take place as it is revealed that the chapter's main setting is the Jugdral-based Outrealm, only in a winter season setup.
Once preparations are complete, Celica reports some grave news to Alm--the enemy forces have somehow multiplied, to which Alm states that the enemy must have summoned help from beyond their world; Celica asks Alm what they should do, to which Alm states that they crush the enemy. After a reaction from Celica, Alm asks her what's wrong, to which Celica states that's what she's trying to figure out; Celica then asks Alm if he thinks their cause is the more just one, to which Alm states that they're on a battlefield--politics no longer come into play. Their group have driven the enemy to their castle doors, and Alm asks Celica if she now has doubts, to which Celica states that she doesn't; Alm tells Celica that their group should buckle down and finish this fight. Cutting back to Evans Castle, a group of people led by Arvis emerges from the castle, with Arvis asking Chrom if he's the leader of the ethereal forces, and states he cannot thank the Shepherds enough for coming to their aid; Arvis then introduces himself and states himself as the commander of this army, with Chrom introducing himself. Arvis decides to explain his army's situation--they need the Shepherds to join their might to his and break the enemy siege, praying that the Shepherds will tip the odds in their favor, to which Chrom states he understands, with Arvis stating he has his thanks. Chrom and Robin step aside, to which the Avatar asks Chrom what is wrong; Chrom reveals that the allied commander is Arvis, the villain in every Jugdrali saga he's ever heard, and asks the Avatar why Arvis came across as pleasant. The Avatar states that history decides heroes and villains on a different basis than reality, and theorizes that the stories may have gotten Arvis wrong, as he did lose out in the end, to which Chrom states the Avatar has a point. The battle begins at this point.
At the end of the first player phase, Tiki asks Prince Marth where all the bad people came from, to which Prince Marth states he is certain that they are not from this world; Prince Marth tells Tiki not to worry, there is strength in their groups numbers, and that they will crush the Shepherds. The scene then pans over to a group near the map's central village, to which Katarina states that Prince Marth is on the move, and that they should mobilize themselves, to which Hardin says he knows, she needn't spell it out; after a brief silence from Katarina, Hardin says he's readying his forces, they and Prince Marth shall crush the enemy from both sides. Over at Yngvi Castle, Sigurd reveals that their reinforcements are in place and that their group shall ready the counterstrike--they need to break through and rejoin with Arvis's forces. Back over with Alm's group, Alm states he doesn't peddle in mercy and can't afford to, and if anyone wants to fight him, they should be prepared to pay the price.
Once the battle ends, if Arvis survived, Arvis tells Chrom that they've beaten back the last of the enemy and that he has his gratitude, to which Chrom states he's glad the Shepherds could be of service; Arvis asks if he can count on Chrom to return should the enemy return, to which Chrom states the can as long as it's in the cards. Chrom tells Arvis to enjoy the peace that he has earned and hopes they can meet again. Arvis says he has one more thing to give Chrom--Arvis says he came across a peculiar card during the battle and asks Chrom if he has any idea what it is, that is seems magical; Chrom notes the card as an Einherjar reading "Alm, Exalted King", a hero of the Valentian sagas; Arvis asks if it's significant, and tells Chrom to keep the card if it pleases him. If Arvis did not survive, Chrom will reveal that they've beaten back the last of the enemy, but they failed to protect Arvis; the Shepherds at least restored the peace in the area, and that will have to be enough. Chrom calls the Shepherds to return home, then notices the Alm Einherjar and notes that the Shepherds must be meant to have it.
Back in the space between Outrealms, a conversation will then ensue between Alm and the player, with the choices the player makes affecting what Alm says next. At the end of the conversation, the player will then be given an offer to add Alm to their active roster, which they can either accept or refuse. Afterward, the game will give the player a Dread Scroll.
