Rogues & Redeemers 2 is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening. As a xenologue chapter, it does not officially bear a chapter number; if all xenologues are purchased and its list is viewed at the Outrealm Gate, Rogues & Redeemers 2 is the fourteenth one from the top in the North American version of the game. Officially in Japan and unofficially in North America, Rogues & Redeemers 2 is part of the first series of DLC releases, a distinction that does not exist in the PAL regions.
This chapter was first made available on June 21, 2012 in Japan, April 4, 2013 in North America, and June 13-14 in the PAL regions. PAL region players who purchased the Rogues Pack prior to Rogues & Redeemers 2's offical release were able to play the chapter a week early.
In this chapter, the Shepherds are tasked to team up with a very tough group of villainous Einherjar to face a very tough group of heroic Einherjar.

Old Hubba has noticed Chrom has returned to the space between Outrealms in order to defeat the outlaw Einherjar and restore peace to one of the Outrealms; Chrom asks Old Hubba if the Shepherds will have allies this time, to which Old Hubba states they will--and even better, they think they summoned the Shepherds, having hoodwinked them good (with Old Hubba tripping over a word). Chrom asks if they can just get going already. Preparations take place as it is revealed that the chapter's main setting is the Tellius-based Outrealm, with the weather forecast being that of a foggy day.
Once preparations are finished, Jaffar tells Katarina that there have been some new developments, namely the arrival of enemy reinforcements, to which Katarina asks what Jaffar is talking about; Jaffar tells Katarina she needs to take charge and asks her how she wants to deal with the situation, to which Katarina asks if the reinforcements resulted in a substantial increase in numbers, to which Jaffar says not if the reports are true. Katarina states that their group should stick to their current strategy, as the enemy would need several times the number in their group's garrison in order to storm the castle, and a small bump in enemy forces shouldn't be enough to turn the tides; Jaffar states he'll spread the word, to which Katarina states there's something else and Jaffar asks her what she's talking about. Katarina asks why she has to command their group, that she doesn't feel like the right woman for the job; Jaffar tells Katarina she should tell the others that, with Jamke chiming in giving Katarina the option of just doing her job, as Marth and the other lords trusted her so they could rush the front lines. Jamke asks Katarina if she is going to let the lords down, to which Katarina says she won't. Arvis welcomes the Shepherds, and reveals to Chrom that his group seeks to destroy the band of rogues hiding out in these castle ruins, asking Chrom if the Shepherds will help them and Chrom confirming; Arvis asks Chrom what's wrong and if there's a problem, to which Chrom states there isn't a problem per se but, if Arvis doesn't mind Chrom saying so, Arvis and his comrades strike him as a bit villainous. Arvis tells Chrom he has some nerve calling him villainous, all his group are after is restoring peace to these lands, it's those inside the castle who insist on dragging this war out, to which Chrom apologizes saying he misspoke; Chrom promises Arvis the Shepherds will fight as best as they can, to which Chrom gives his word. The battle begins at this point.
At the end of the first player phase, Celica states that she knows this is her group's land and not that of their enemy's and she's sure of it, yet asks herself why the justice of her cause feels so hollow.
Once the battle ends, Robin will tell Chrom the area's clear, to which Chrom states it seems that way; the Avatar asks Chrom what's wrong, that Chrom seems depressed, to which Chrom states he can't help but feel the Shepherds were on the wrong side of history in this battle, wondering what if they put the wrong people to the sword. The Avatar states they maybe might have put the wrong people to the sword, but they maybe didn't, as their goal here was to end the battle quickly and they picked the side that allowed them to achieve that goal; Chrom supposes the Avatar to be right, then calls the Shepherds home and hopes things will quiet down in this Outrealm. Chrom then asks the Avatar to wait, as there's something clinging to his/her robe, with the Avatar asking how he/she missed it; Chrom reveals that the object looks like an Einherjar card, to which the Avatar reveals is "Celica, Blessed Maiden", with Chrom noting her as being the princess from Valentian lore.
Back in the space between Outrealms, a conversation will then ensue between Celica and the player, with the choices the player makes affecting what Celica says next. At the end of the conversation, the player will then be given an offer to add Celica to their active roster, which they can either accept or refuse.

Note: The returning characters list represents the minimum characterbase recruitable by the point the player can first access the Outrealm Gate. If more chapters along the main story path are cleared, or if any paralogues are cleared, the player can have access to characters not listed here by the point the chapter is first started. As bonus units are recruitable at the player's discretion, the returning characters list does not list them either.

Trivia
- All known official international summaries of this chapter mistake Celica for Cecilia, an unrelated character who does not appear in this chapter. The same mistake is also made in the North American series 1 DLC trailer.[2]
- The official international Awakening websites ironically display a screenshot of Celica's recruitment with her name spelled correctly. Unless the writers of the the international summaries somehow saw the screenshot as erroneous, the international websites had no real reason to make this mistake in their summaries.
