Unused content in Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes features many pieces of unused content which some is no longer available in the game files. Most of them consists of unused graphical assets.

Several mockups of unit images exist in the game. Some of them appear to be higher resolution or have some different shading than the unit graphics used in gameplay.

Maps

An unused variant of the map of part 1 of paralogue 55 was added to the game alongside the version actually used. The unused version lacks the shadow on the west side of the map, and has two sand pillars on the western edge instead of the used version's one sand pillar and one blue-fire torch. The unused variant is found at /assets/Common/X0541.png in the game files; the used variant is at /assets/Common/Field/X0541.png.

  The initial icon of Fort. Def/Res 1. This icon was removed upon release of the Legendary Hero - Eirika update.

• 

  This icon is what appears to be layered over the Steady Stance 4 skill. The icon was removed upon release of the Fire and Ice update which added the skill.

The files for the artwork of Tiki's summer variation were altered before official release. In the earlier version Tiki's posterior was more defined and the bottom piece of her bikini was slightly more revealing.

Gaius's Summer variation was updated so he actually pulls his bowstring. The old images, where he is not gripping the bowstring, were subsequently removed from the game files.

Sonia: Inhuman Beauty's face was slightly altered; her eyes were brought closer together, and the shading on her face was darkened. These changes were not made to her portrait.
