Sacred Seals are a type of skill item that appear in Fire Emblem Heroes. Sacred Seals can be used to teach characters an additional passive skill into a dedicated slot, denoted by a gold S next to the skill's icon; for this reason, skills taught by Sacred Seals may be known as type-S skills.
The actual workings of Sacred Seals are reminiscent of that of the scrolls of Radiant Dawn, in that Sacred Seals on a character can be freely removed and retaught to a different character.
If a character is taught a Sacred Seal of a passive skill tree they already possess, the effects will stack; for example, if one were to teach a Julia that already knows Breath of Life 1 in their type-C slot the Breath of Life 1 Sacred Seal, the two instances together will restore 6 HP to damaged adjacent allies at the end of any combat Julia initiated, 3 HP from Julia's type-C instance and 3 HP from the Sacred Seal instance.

Sacred Seal Forge
The Sacred Seal Forge, accessible to players who have completed the Intermission, is where players can build Sacred Seals in exchange for 20 normal-sized Badges, 100 Great-sized Badges, and a number of Sacred Coins that depends on the skill (currently ranging from 10 to 50), with one particular color of Badges required based on the skill, but it is also where players can strengthen multiple-tier Sacred Seals into their higher tiers. Every Sacred Seal to date except Quickened Pulse has three tiers available; like all other passive skills, the higher the tier of a Sacred Seal, the stronger effect its skill provides. The process of forging a second-tier Sacred Seal requires the first-tier Sacred Seal, 200 regular-sized Badges and 60 Great-sized Badges of the same color (depending on the skill), and 50 Sacred Coins; the process of forging a third-tier Sacred Seal requires the second-tier Sacred Seal, 1000 regular-sized badges and 400 Great-sized badges of the same color as was previously required for that skill, and 100 Sacred Coins.
