Eirika (Japanese: エイリーク, Eirik) is the princess of Renais, daughter of King Fado and twin sister of Crown Prince Ephraim. Exiled from her kingdom during Grado's initial onslaught of Renais, she was a leader of the effort to defeat Grado and protect the Sacred Stones it sought to destroy.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Role
Eirika is one of the two main characters of the game. In the beginning of the game, she escapes Renais as it is invaded by Grado, accompanied by Seth. At the time, her twin brother Ephraim has been fighting in Grado and is missing. She gathers many companions on her journey, and after arriving at Frelia and meeting her friend Tana, she decides to travel to Grado and find her brother.
After a reunion, the two return to Frelia to plan for their next course of action. At this point, the player can choose either Eirika's route or Ephraim's route, two different possible ways that the story can go. Either way, Eirika goes to Jehanna with Innes with the purpose of warning Jehanna of the war. The two soon reunite, and go to Renais to receive the two sacred weapons. Eirika receives the sacred sword Sieglinde. Together, the twins manage to defeat the Demon King, Fomortiis.

Fire Emblem Awakening
Role
Eirika makes several appearances in the downloadable content of Fire Emblem Awakening. In Champions of Yore 1 and 3, she is an enemy, while in the second chapter, she appears as an allied NPC unit with Lyn and Celica. She returns as an enemy in Smash Brethren 2, where, after completing the chapter, she introduces the player to the Bride class, and rewards them with the Wedding Bouquet. She reverts to her SpotPass appearance as an enemy in Smash Brethren 3, Rogues & Redeemers 2, and Rogues & Redeemers 3.
As with several other legacy characters in Awakening, there is a unique weapon named for Eirika available through the Barracks or event tiles: Eirika's Blade.
