An attack? By Ephraim's troops? To arms! Prince Ephraim's circled around and brought the fight to us! If we capture the prince here, we can line our pockets with gold! Do you understand? We'll be rich!
— Zonta

Zonta (Japanese: ゾンタ Zonta) is a boss appearing in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He is the leader of a band of mercenaries hired by Tirado of Grado.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Role

Zonta is the boss of chapter 5x of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Zonta and his group are one of a number of mercenary bands hired by Grado and sent to the Renvall area to seek out Ephraim and his small force of (seemingly) loyal knights (of which Tirado hints to a traitor among them). Ephraim and his knights have already taken care of a number of these mercenary bands by the time he arrives at a castle in Renvall, wherein Zonta and his band awaits.

Zonta and his band prove no match for Ephraim and his knights, who end up defeated.

Personality and character

Zonta has the typical mercenary mindset of performing any task for pay. He appears to have no particular loyalties and serves Tirado so that he may be paid.

Upon his death he questions how much of a pawn he was to Tirado.
