Hamill Canyon/Script
At Grado Keep, Valter reports Glen's death to Cormag; Cormag demands to know who killed Glen, and Valter informs him that Eirika did and where she is. Cormag immediately departs, and Valter muses to himself about Eirika.
As Eirika's group reaches in Jehanna, a messenger from Frelia arrives; the messenger relays that the Frelian army has pushed Pablo's forces to retreat towards Jehanna, and that Ephraim has forced the enemy to surrender at Fort Rigwald and is marching towards the capital of Grado. Innes doubts that Ephraim could truly beat the elite forces at the capital, but Eirika believes in her brother's abilities.
The messenger departs and Eirika prepares to engage Grado's army. Eirika advises L'Arachel to stay behind, and L'Arachel dramatically refuses; L'Arachel states that she cannot allow Grado to destroy Jehanna's Sacred Stone, and that knights of Rausten are marching to their current location. Eirika asks how she could know that, but L'Arachel leaves before answering.
Grado's army preparates to face Eirika's. Caellach talks to Aias—a former mercenary comarde of his—and is confident Aias will win. Caellach states he will handle the advancing knights of Rausten, and Aias assures Caellach he will defeat Eirika.
Once Eirika's group arrive on the battlefield, Seth warns Eirika that Pablo's army is advancing from the rear. L'arachel reminds Eirika that they must survive until Rausten's knights can arrive.
During the battle, Cormag appears on the field, and Eirika can talk to him. Cormag challenges Eirika to a duel to avenge Glen, whom he accuses her of killing. Eirika tries to explain that she did not fight Glen, but lacks proof; Eirika relays to Cormag Glen's final words to her: that Eirika had the same gentle heart that she did when the two first met. Cormag realizes that Valter lied to him about his brother's death, and decides to join Eirika to seek vengeance, in spite of being marked a traitor to Grado.
Additionally, if Amelia was not recruited or killed in Chapter 9, she will appear on the battlefield, and can be spoken to by Eirika or Franz. Eirika or Franz mistake Amelia for a commoner, and attempt to usher her of the battlefield; however, Amelia informs them that she is a Grado soldier. Amelia believes Eirika to be a "merciless fiend", but is convinced this is false—by seeing Eirika firsthand or by Franz's account—and joins them.
Eventually, the knights of Rausten arrive, bringing the battle to a decisive end in favor of Eirika and her allies. One of them reports to L'Arachel and refers to her as "princess". L'Arachel finally reveals herself to Eirika as the princess of the theocracy of Rausten. L'Arachel claims to have been "acting under divine order to strike down evil", and the soldier informs Eirika she was inspired by the tales a court troubadour. The soldier also gives L'Arachel gold from King Mansel. Seth then brings news from Jehanna: the palace has surrendered to a Grado army lead by Lyon, the prince of Grado.
If Aias was not killed in the battle, he rides to Jehanna Hall and confronts Caellach. Aias concludes that Caellach planned to abandon him from the beginning, which Caellach confirms. Caellach explains that he "will not be chained to [his] past", and quickly kills Aias.

If you wish to recruit Cormag, don't get impatient and kill Aias before Turn 5, because that's when he shows up as an enemy reinforcement.
Trivia
- In the Japanese version, Aias's default weapon is the Silver Blade instead of the Short Spear.
- Some enemy units are mistakenly named "Remnant" in the English version, which is supposed to be used for the remnants of Grado's army in later chapters. In the Japanese version, these units are named パブロ私兵 Pablo Private Soldier.
