Plot
- Main article: Landing at Taizel/Script
Ephraim and his army arrive at Taizel, and find no enemy troops. At the same time, Saleh escorts Ewan to Taizel; Ewan explains that Marisa, an associate of his, was accidentally assigned the wrong job, and he wishes to inform her—Saleh then leaves to report his inability to find the "Lord Dragon" to his village. On their ship, Ephraim and Seth disagree on tactics proceeding into Grado; Seth suggests they use their rear guard to help the front line, but Ephraim refuses to abandon their supply convoy in enemy territory. Ephraim then notices Myrrh trying to say something, but she decides against speaking up. Just then, enemy forces emerge around the city, and Ephraim prepares for battle.
During the battle, Caellach orders the Grado soldiers forward, reminding them of the losses of Fort Rigwald and General Duessel. Riev then arrives, and informs Caellach that Eirika is traveling to Jehanna, where Caellach was ordered to be. Riev takes Caellach back to Grado Keep, and bolsters Grado's forces with monsters.
A member of Ephraim's army can visit the lone village, where Ewan is searching for Marisa; Ewan asks for help finding her, and offers to help in battle in exchange. Ewan can talk to Marisa; he informs her that she has been assigned to the wrong job, that her commander Gerik is working east. Ewan suggests Marisa join Ephraim's army with him, as they are headed east, and Marisa agrees.
After the battle, Ephraim's army prepares to rest in the city. Unbeknownst to Ephraim, Myrrh travels east alone. The next morning, Seth informs Ephraim that Myrrh is missing and was likely sighted heading east. Ephraim orders the army to move east, but Seth hesitates; Ephraim assure him that they would be heading east anyway, and explains that he wishes to retain his compassion when he becomes king. The army then travels east.
