Peer Training is a mechanic in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes that allows the player to teach Combat arts or Spells to units who wouldn't be able to learn them otherwise.
Mechanics
Units can teach each other combat arts or spells if the following conditions are met:
- The student and the teacher must have achieved at least a C level support with each other.
- If the C support has a conversation attatched to it, that conversation must have been watched. Since the house leaders' supports with each other are unobtainable, they cannot teach each other any combat arts or spells.
- Both units must have achieved an A rank proficiency with the associated weapon. For spells, an A rank with tomes must have been achieved.
- The teacher must have unlocked the combat art or spell and have achieved Level 3 with the combat art or spell and the spell must be teachable. Each unit can teach different combat arts or spells, and not every unit has the same amount of combat arts or spells.
- If a combat art or spell can be taught, it is marked with a speech bubble.
- The combat art or spell must not be learnable by the student otherwise.
- The student must be assigned to the teacher as an adjutant.
If all conditions are met, the teacher can teach the combat art to the student randomly. The player is notified through a blue text if the peer training has been successful, and the combat art or spell is added to the student's available combat arts or spells after the battle has been completed. If the player gets a Game Over or uses the 'Retreat' command, the combat art will not be taught. The chance of teaching a combat art or spell is determined by the support level of the units with each other:
