The Maiden's Peril/Script
Dimitri takes advantage of the conflict between Adrestia and Leicester to personally oust the unfaithful western lords and launch an attempt to reclaim Arianrhod from the Empire. Edelgard and the Imperial forces make for Arianrhod to rescue Count Rowe before he defects back to Faerghus. Afterwards, Edelgard and Shez discuss the politics of allowing the Kingdom nobles to get away with their nakedly two-faced actions. Meanwhile, Count Rowe seriously considers betraying the Empire and throwing himself upon Dimitri's mercy, but Lonato and Gwendal convince him to at least make a good faith effort to repel the Kingdom.
The Empire arrives at Arianrhod, breaks the siege, and overpowers Dimitri, forcing Ingrid to sacrifice herself to buy time for him and the rest of the Kingdom forces to escape. Afterwards, Edelgard elects to pull the main Adrestian forces back to Enbarr to rest and recuperate while holding on to key positions at the Great Bridge of Myrddin to the east, Arianrhod to the west, and Garreg Mach in the center. As they depart, Shez reiterates their desire to recruit Byleth to the Empire, confusing Arval. When pressed on why they are obsessed with killing Byleth, Arval admits it feels like their destiny.

This chapter is very fast-paced compared to the previous in Scarlet Blaze, so be sure to be on your toes. In making your way to extract Count Rowe, you will need to take over a series of strongholds and use a few levers to make your way north. If you fail to reach Rowe before he is defeated, he will defect to the enemies, and will need to be defeated in addition to the previously mentioned enemies.
