Acheron Lethe Phlegethon (pronounced /ˈækɚɔn 'flɛɡɛˌθɑn/[key]; Japanese: アケロン) is a non-playable character appearing in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. He is a minor noble of the Leicester Alliance.
Biography
Acheron is a minor noble of the Leicester Alliance, infamous for his political opportunism. In 1180, during the paralogue Land of the Golden Deer, he attempts an uprising near House Gloucester territory which is foiled by Lorenz and Byleth's allies.
What side Acheron takes after Edelgard declares war on the Church of Seiros depends on the route. On the Crimson Flower route, he sides with Leicester and shows up alongside a non-recruited Leonie/an Alliance General as reinforcements for Judith at the Great Bridge of Myrddin; if Leonie/the Alliance General die first however, Acheron abandons the battle along with his reinforcements, leaving Judith to die. On all other routes, Acheron sides with Adrestia and pulls a pincer attack on Byleth and their allies when they attempt to cross the Great Bridge of Myrddin, only to be quickly killed in battle.

Personality and character
Acheron is a pompous and self-centered individual who only cares for his own interests, willing to either protect or betray his homeland depending on the circumstances, hence his in-universe nickname "The Weathervane". Despite oozing an aura of smugness however, he's not afraid to humiliate himself and beg for his life if it is at stake.
