“ | ... You are my king. Our king. Wherever you lead, we will follow. But Your Highness... There are those who take up their sword in the name of revenge, and yet along the way, lose the strength and composure to follow through... You would do well to bear that in mind. | ” | — Rodrigue |

Silver Snow
Byleth finds Seteth and Flayn in the Holy Tomb, and Flayn theorizes that Rhea may have fallen into a coma just like Byleth did. The next day, Judith responds to the Resistance's request and agrees to meet them at Ailell, the Valley of Torment, to reinforce them. The group begins to prepare for the journey, unaware that an Imperial spy has witnessed the conversation. At the end of the month, the Resistance Army journeys to Ailell, but is ambushed by soldiers of House Rowe, one of the houses that betrayed Faerghus for Adrestia. The Resistance engages the traitors in battle, and is eventually reinforced by Judith. Together, they rout the enemy. Afterwards, Judith delivers the Alliance soldiers as promised. She gives the group a letter from Claude and reveals that Rhea was captured by the Empire after the Battle of Garreg Mach. After returning to the monastery, Seteth decides that they will capture the Great Bridge of Myrddin to gain a foothold in the Empire. Byleth reads Claude's letter; he offers to draw House Gloucester's Imperial loyalists away from the bridge so the Resistance can capture it, cutting Gloucester off from the Empire and allowing Claude to restore stability to the Alliance.
Azure Moon
Rodrigue responds to Dimitri's request and agrees to meet him at Ailell, the Valley of Torment, to reinforce him. The group begins to prepare for the journey, unaware that an Imperial spy has witnessed the conversation. At the end of the month, the Blue Lions journey to Ailell, but are ambushed by soldiers of House Rowe, one of the houses that betrayed Faerghus for Adrestia. The Blue Lions engage the traitors in battle, and are eventually reinforced by Rodrigue. Together, they rout the enemy. Afterwards, Dimitri and Rodrigue formally reunite. Rodrigue asks Dimitri to return to Fhirdiad and liberate it, but Dimitri is hell-bent on invading Enbarr. Unable to sway him from this course of action, Rodrigue presents him with the Hero's Relic Areadbhar and the battle gear of Loog, the first king of Faerghus. Leaving Fraldarius in the care of his younger brother, Rodrigue vows to destroy the Empire alongside Dimitri. They plan to take advantage of the Leicester Alliance's split to move through Alliance territory and engage the Empire from the Great Bridge of Myrddin, and to this end send a messenger to Claude to petition for his aid.
Verdant Wind
Judith responds to Claude's request and agrees to meet him at Ailell, the Valley of Torment, to reinforce him. The group begins to prepare for the journey, unaware that an Imperial spy has witnessed the conversation. At the end of the month, the Golden Deer journey to Ailell, but are ambushed by soldiers of House Rowe, one of the houses that betrayed Faerghus for Adrestia. The Golden Deer engage the traitors in battle, and are eventually reinforced by Judith. Together, they rout the enemy. Afterwards, Claude and Judith formally reunite and Judith joins Claude's growing army. Leaving Riegan and Daphnel in the care of Claude's retainer Nardel, Claude decides that his next move will be to seize the Great Bridge of Myrddin to take Imperial pressure off of House Gloucester and allow them to turn to his side.
