Pallardó (pronouced /pɑˈlɑɹdoʊ/[key]; Japanese: バジャルド) is a non-playable character appearing in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. He is a bandit leader who frequents Garreg Mach Monastery.

Biography

Pallardó is a bandit leader who frecuents Garreg Mach Monastery under the pretences of being a merchant. In Imperial Year 1180 on the Blue Lion and Golden Deer routes, Pallardó can be found trying to scam Anna and get away with her profits. While Byleth and their allies end up helping Anna and defeat him, Pallardó manages to escape in the end to parts unknown.

On non-Crimson Flower routes, after Edelgard declares war on the Church of Seiros and captures Archbishop Rhea, Pallardó takes over the outskirts of Garreg Mach Monastery as the Knights of Seiros search for Rhea's whereabouts. Five years later, on the day of the Millennium Festival, Byleth, Seteth/Dimitri/Claude and their former class reunite on the site as they slay Pallardó and his gang of thieves.

On the Crimson Flower route, Anna's paralogue takes place instead during Part II. While the events surrounding it remain the same on that path, it is revealed Jeritza eventually found Pallardó and put him down once the skirmish with him and his goons was over.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Role

Pallardó is the boss of Chapter 13 of non-Crimson Flower routes and of the DLC paralogue The Secret Merchant.

Quotes

Battle quotes

No! I'm not the one you want! Gah! Guess I've got no choice.
— Pallardó's decoy in Silver Snow/Azure Moon/Verdant Wind Chapter 13.
It isn't looking good for us. Should we retreat?
— Pallardó once his decoy has been killed in Silver Snow/Azure Moon/Verdant Wind Chapter 13.
Ah, you should yield me a tidy profit!
— Pallardó in Silver Snow/Azure Moon/Verdant Wind Chapter 13.
Once I kill you, I'll be able to go about my business without anyone around to damage my reputation.
— Pallardó in The Secret Merchant.
Anna: Pallardó, how could you?! Running off with all the treasure... That's unthinkable!
Pallardó: As a merchant yourself, you must understand that more is more when it comes to profit.
Anna: Don't you dare group me in with the likes of you. You're a thief and a liar playing at being a merchant. For true merchants, the customer's trust is more valuable than gold. Squander that trust, and you'll be out of business before you can say "profits"!

— Pallardó fighting Anna in The Secret Merchant.
Jeritza: Pitiful. Mere prey to be hunted. Now run like the frightened rodent you are.
Pallardó: I've got some tricks up my sleeve-don't underestimate me!
Jeritza: What a fool. You are beginning to bore me.

— Pallardó fighting Jeritza in The Secret Merchant.
