Captain Berling (Japanese: ベルラン団長 Leader Berling) is a non-playable character appearing in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. She was the leader of Berling's Mercenaries.
Biography
Captain Berling was the leader of the Berling's Mercenaries. At some point, a mercenary named Shez joined her outfit. In Imperial year 1179,[1] her mercenary company fought against Jeralt's Mercenaries in an attempt to boost her group's creed,[2] but ended up slain by the Ashen Demon in the process.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
Role
Captain Berling is a non-playable character who appears in Chapter 0 of Warriors: Three Hopes. She uses a special version of the Bow Knight class that lacks any class skills except for Bowfaire, and is killed automatically upon the player defeating the main force.

Personality
Captain Berling was a very ambitious person who wanted to have her mercenary company become the best in all of the Leicester Alliance. She is also shown to be very confident as she attempted to face Byleth, who was a very renowned mercenary at the time, on her own.

Trivia
- Despite not being playable, Captain Berling's sprite uses the blue palette that is otherwise exclusively used for playable units and base captains under the player's order. This distinction is shared with Lazley and Getz, who appear alongside her in Chapter 0.
