Ghost of a Blade is the twenty-first paralogue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening. As a paralogue chapter, its events are not integral to the game's main storyline and can be done at the player's leisure. It is one of a group often called the "SpotPass paralogues", as the chapter is unlocked via a SpotPass interaction and also requires beating chapter 25 in order to play. This chapter is unlockable via SpotPass starting June 14, 2012 in the Japanese version, March 28, 2013 in the North American version, and June 13-14, 2013 in the PAL version.
......Yen'fay is dead, and I no better. Let me offer up this blade to his sister in the hope it buys peace for us all.
”
— Yen'fay
In this chapter, the Shepherds arrive at a Chon'sin burial site infested with Risen investigating reports of Yen'fay sightings in the area. The reports prove true, but in a roundabout sort of way...
In Chon'sin, the Shepherds come upon a location which Say'ri explains to be a tomb made to honor the warriors who founded Chon'sin, and she laments that the Risen now overtake the place. Frederick notes that villagers have claimed to have seen her brother Yen'fay, but Say'ri does not allow herself to entertain the thought.
As the battle begins, Yen'fay thinks to himself. If Say'ri talks to Yen'fay, she asks him how he is alive, but he states that he is not her brother and "do[es] not belong in this world", and leaves her.
After the battle, if Say'ri talked to Yen'fay, she again asks him how he is alive, and Robin hypothesizes that he could be from an alternate world or time. Yen'fay confirms that he is from a world where Say'ri died because he could not make the sacrifice required to protect her, but is pleased to see that "this world's Yen'fay" could. Say'ri wishes that her brother instead could be alive, and Yen'fay offers to aid her in her mission.
Website summary
Yen'fay, the former Chon'sin dynast who offered his life to save his sister, Say'ri, in battle, lies dead and buried. However, rumors have reached Chrom's ear that a ghost has been seen near his tomb...[1]
Note: The returning characters list only those recruited by the time this chapter is unlocked. As a paralogue chapter, there is no set timeframe in which the chapter must be taken on; thus, it is possible to have recruited more characters than the above by the point the chapter is started. The returning characters list also does not include any characters recruitable in other paralogues, as the player may not have taken on any other available paralogue chapters yet. The list also does not include any bonus units, as they are recruitable at the player's discretion.
If a merchant is present in Warriors' Tomb on the world map, a random selection of three of the below items will also be available until the merchant leaves:

Warriors Tomb is in the same location as Ram Village in Gaiden.
The fact that Warriors' Tomb is a Chon'sin grave potentially implies that the Chon'sin homeland may be around the far southwestern region of the Valmese continent.
Of the five SpotPass paralogues centered around a character portrayed to have apparently died along the main story path, this is the only one where it is made clear that the version of the character belonging to the game's primary timeline did actually die at the time of said character's apparent death.
This is the only chapter in the vanilla Awakening game where Chrom is only required to appear as a character to be deployed in the chapter; Chrom only plays a role outside the main battle in the chapter's alternate ending where Yen'fay does not survive the chapter's events.
It is also one of only two chapters where Chrom potentially plays no story role even when factoring in DLC chapters, the other being Apotheosis.
