Battle of the Eagle and Lion (Japanese: グロンダーズ鷲獅子戦Gronder's Eagle and Lion Battle) is the main battle map of the seventh chapter in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. In this map, the three houses of Garreg Mach Monastery engage in a massive mock battle. This page covers the Blue Lions' version of the map.
Begins moving one turn after any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit, or two turns after any of the Golden Deer are provoked by a player unit.
• Begins moving two turns after any of the Golden Deer are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by an Imperial General Thief without Hunter's Boon or a Vulnerary if she was recruited.
• Begins moving two turns after any of the Golden Deer are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by an Imperial General Brigand without Born Fighter if he was recruited.
• Begins moving two turns after any of the Golden Deer are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by an Imperial General Mage without Songstress, a Vulnerary, or Thunder if she was recruited.
• Begins moving one turn after any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit, or two turns after any of the Golden Deer are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by an Imperial General Cavalier without Crests or Confidence if he was recruited.
• The southern one immediately begins moving unprovoked. • The northern one begins moving if any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit, or if Ignatz or the Cavalier east of him is provoked.
• Begins moving if any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by an Alliance General Brawler without Goody Basket or a Vulnerary if he was recruited.
• Begins moving if any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit, or if one of the adjacent Cavaliers is provoked. • Replaced by an Alliance General Archer without Watchful Eye a Vulnerary if he was recruited.
• Begins moving if any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by an Alliance General Mage without Crests, Mastermind, a Vulnerary, a Training Bow, or non-Fire spells if she was recruited.
• Begins moving if any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit. • Replaced by a generic Priest without Crests, Animal Friend, a Vulnerary, a Training Sword, or Physic if she was recruited.
• Starts on a heal tile +. • If any of the Black Eagles are provoked by a player unit, he orders any units that respond to this trigger to move southwest instead of northwest.

The Golden Deer gain +2 to strength, magic, defense, and resistance after defeating a certain number of opponents, player-controlled or not, depending on difficulty:
On Normal mode, after defeating 5 units.
On Hard mode, after defeating 5 units, then again after defeating 8.
On Maddening mode, after defeating 3 units, again after defeating 5, then again after defeating 8.
