Hawk (Japanese: ホークHawk) is a Silessean mage, and Femina's elder brother. In his searches for his missing father, he travelled through the Munster District and became involved in the struggles against the Grannvale Empire's occupation of the region, joining Seliph's revolutionary army after liberating Munster.
Hawk is Ced's substitute character, filling his role in the story and gameplay if Erinys died or failed to be married in the course of the first generation.
Hawk was in Munster Castle at the time of Seliph's revolution army sweeping the Munster District. By the time Seliph's army had slain Bloom at Conote, Hawk had successfully wrested control of Munster, only to find that Thracian knights were approaching the castle. Encouraging the people of Munster to flee for Conote, Hawk remained behind to defend Munster from the assault led by Princess Altena and Coulter. In this effort, he was approached by Seliph, who recruited him into the revolution force.
Hawk possesses a strong devotion to the welfare of others, and despite having no stake in the fight for Munster he gave up on his search for his father in order to help the Munster people.[1] Even so, he is exceptionally hard on himself, as despite fighting his best he still considers himself a failure for being unable to save everyone.[2]
In Chapter 8, Seliph can talk to Hawk after he appears as a partner unit at Munster Castle, recruiting him.
In Chapter 8, Femina can talk to Hawk after he has been recruited, granting Femina +1 Luck.
In Chapter 9, Hawk can enter Luthecia Castle after it has been seized to initiate an event with a villager there, granting him +3 Magic and Resistance.
↑"Femina: I'm here looking for you! What could I do... You never once returned home after you left! Hawk: I'm sorry, Femina. I wandered into Munster while looking for our father, and the people were so bad off I just couldn't leave them. Femina: That's just like something you'd do, Hawk." — Femina and Hawk, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
↑"Munster had a great number of children seized and sent to the shrine in Miletos. I was unable to prevent it... I'm no hero, sir. I'm a coward if anything." — Hawk, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
