— Brian

Brian (Japanese: ブリアン Brian) was the Duke of Grannvale's House Dozel in Grann 777, the successor of his father Danann following his death in Isaach, and the inheritor of Helswath. While the rest of his family was deployed in Isaach as its occupational rulers, Brian remained behind in Grannvale.

Biography

Brian was entrusted with the care and defense of the Dozel territory itself, and with the leadership of the Grau Ritter, while Danann resided in Isaach as its "king". Danann also left Helswath behind in Brian's care instead of wielding it himself in Isaach. In the final battle between Grannvale and Seliph's liberation army in Grann 777, Brian personally led the Grauritter in an assault on Chalphy Castle while Seliph was busy fighting in Edda. He was slain in battle.

Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War

Role

Brian is a boss in the Endgame of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, fighting in the field rather than defending Dozel Castle itself. He appears on the map, along with the rest of the Dozel army, once Seliph has seized Edda Castle.
