Aura
| ||||||
|
Aura (Japanese: オーラ Aura, or アルジローレ Argyraurae) is a potent light magic tome which debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. In its appearances in the Archanea tetralogy of games, it is a sacred tome inherited through the line of successive pontifices of Khadein; it was Gotoh's decision to entrust it to Miloah instead of Gharnef which inspired the latter's descent into corruption and eventual resurrection of Medeus.[1] In its appearances in other non-Archanea Fire Emblem series games, while still a very powerful spell, it is more commonly available and has no similar history or prestige.

- ↑ "Ellerean, listen to me... Gharnef, along with Pontifex Miloah, were Lord Gotoh's best pupils. But Lord Gotoh saw Gharnef's weakness, and so he left Khadein and the Aura tome to Pontifex Miloah. Gharnef, overcome by jealousy, stole the Darksphere from Lord Gotoh, and created the Imhullu tome. As a result... His heart was trapped within the Darksphere for all eternity. Wrath and envy led him to ruin. Do you understand now, Ellerean...?" — Wendell, Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem
