Your new units are Luke and Roderick, a pair of Cavaliers. They have very strong growths, both support Kris, and are generally very good. Luke needs to get one point of HP or Defense during the prologue in order to avoid being one-shotted by Silver Axe Barbarians in Prologue 8 onwards, while Roderick needs two points of bulk (three if he wants to continue using lances) and one point of Speed to avoid being doubled. Luke in particular has strong bases and is one of the best units in the game besides Kris; with heavy investment into his Speed and physical durability, reclassing to Mercenary to double those same Barbarians is not out of the question.
This map is where things start to get hairy. The forward Fighter and Mercenary are together capable of killing anyone in your party save Kris, so you need to dupe them into splitting up. Stay out of the northwestern Fighter and Caeda's attack ranges until you have dealt with the first wave. Move Luke onto the fort, Kris to Roderick's left, Roderick one space up, and Ryan to Roderick's initial position. If you do it right, the Fighter will attack Roderick and the Mercenary will be body-blocked, forcing him to attack Luke. Kill the two and use the fort to heal. Then use the northern fort to pull the Fighter, kill him, and heal again. Finally, pull and kill Caeda. It is best to give this kill to Ryan since his 4 Speed is going to start getting him doubled in Prologue 5; if he grows Speed now or next chapter, he can avoid that. Note that if Kris can't survive combat with her for some reason, you can give Roderick's Iron Lance to Luke. Without weapon triangle disadvantage, he is just barely tough enough to survive.
If you answer "Yes" to Jagen's question at the end of the chapter, you will go to Athena's version of Prologue 4, where you will fight and recruit her. If you answer "No", you will go to Jeorge's version, where you will fight him and recruit Gordin. Of the two, Athena's rewards you with a noticeably better unit for the short-term who can double most prologue enemies, while Jeorge's rewards you with a unit you get to keep once you leave the prologue and might stand to do with a bit of work on his Speed. The choice is yours.
