— Eibel, in New Mystery of the Emblem.
Eibel (Japanese: エイベル Eibel) is an Archanean general in charge of a force occupying Altea and the boss of Chapter 15 of Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem Book 2 and its remake, New Mystery of the Emblem. Eibel and his band of both Archaneans and soldiers of Gra are the welcome wagon awaiting Marth and his army upon their return from the trials along Anri's Way, and has somehow been able to convince Abel to join his cause by keeping Est as a hostage. Marth and his army eventually fight their way past Eibel's band, defeat Eibel, and make their way into the Altean castle.
