The Archanean League at last arrives in Altea, and Marth recounts how his mother Liza and sister Elice vanished when Gra betrayed them. Marth's army annihilates the Grustian soldiers protecting the castle and slays their commander, Hollstadt. Malledus and Nyna prematurely declare victory, but Marth notes that the enemy still holds the castle interior and rallies his comrades to retake his home.

Strategy

This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.

New Units:

  • Decide between two mediocre pre-promotes, Samson for better stats in the right village or Arran with better equipment in the left village.
  • Xane, a special unit that can transform into others for five turns.

Primary Objectives:

  • Defeat the Dracoknights.
  • Quickly protect villages from a Thief on Turn 5 using your cavalry.
  • Secure northwest forts to block potential enemy reinforcements.

Considerations:

  • Keep the villages safe before proceeding.
  • Handle the initial enemy cavalry wave and use the save point.
  • Be prepared for small groups of distant cavalry reinforcements, which pose a minor threat.
  • Once villages are secure and enemies are under control, confront Hollstadt directly.
  • Don't forget to visit shops for supplies and rescue Xane from captivity.
