Plot

Eremiya laments how the Altean Army have recaptured their castle. She then tells a reluctant Katarina to obey her will and battle the Altean Army, reminding her that she owes her life to Eremiya. Katarina moves out, then encounters Kris and Marth, who both try to persuade her to lay down her arms.
During the battle, Kris will keep trying to convince Katarina to stop fighting. Eventually, the memories of training in Altea and her friendship with Kris makes her break down crying and stop fighting. She then tells Marth she is ready to be executed for her crimes. Marth responds that he would rather see that Katarina lives and becomes her own person, with her own decisions.

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
|
The enemy units will not move, until an allied unit steps into a specific range. This range starts (from top to bottom, left to right) on the first and last row at the 5th tile, the second and second-to-last row the 6th tile (on the mountains), and in row 3–7 at the 7th tile (inside the circle of mountains). Once a unit steps into this range, all enemies start attacking at the next enemy phase, and reinforcements will appear in the next turn.
