Manakete Princess (Japanese: マムクート・プリンセス Mamkute Princess) is the nineteenth chapter in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the fifteenth chapter in Book I of Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem.
Plot
- Main article: Manakete Princess/Script
Marth arrives at the Fane of Raman to claim the Lightsphere and the Starsphere; he finds it guarded by a group of soldiers led by the divine dragon Tiki, who has been brainwashed by Gharnef. Marth and his men defeat the soldiers, while Bantu breaks Tiki out of her trance and recruits her to Marth's cause. After the battle, Marth decides to invade Grust to neutralize them before setting out for Macedon. He warns Nyna that Camus will almost certainly stand against them.

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
|
Make sure to bring Bantu for this map! There are more than a few Mercenaries and Heroes here, so bring strong lance-wielders. Your primary objective is to kill the Thieves before they can make off with the spheres you need. There are also plenty of chambers to crack open and loot. Three of them are guarded by Hunters with 15 Speed; a decently trained Pegasus Knight should make short work of them. The Sniper in the upper right chamber has 18 Speed and poses a bit more of a problem; Longbows can help chip him down to help you avoid having to engage him at 2 range.
You recruit Tiki at the end of this battle; she starts off weak, but two-shots Medeus under all circumstances and has very good growths across the board, making her a worthy investment. If you want to take Medeus on in conventional combat, Tiki is your best option; it's a smart idea to feed her the Seraph Robe you get in this chapter to improve her bulk, and your ultimate goal for her is to get her to the point where HP > 2 x (50 - Defense).
As a final note, you obtain one of the last big paydays in this map via a Bullion XL. Make sure to hold on to 18750G so you can buy stat boosters in the secret shops in Chapters 21 and 24.
