Plot

Main article: Manakete Princess/Script

Marth arrives at the Fane of Raman to claim the Lightsphere and the Starsphere; he finds it guarded by a group of soldiers led by the divine dragon Tiki, who has been brainwashed by Gharnef. Marth and his men defeat the soldiers, while Bantu breaks Tiki out of her trance and recruits her to Marth's cause. After the battle, Marth decides to invade Grust to neutralize them before setting out for Macedon. He warns Nyna that Camus will almost certainly stand against them.

Strategy

This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.

1. Preparations and Key Characters:

  • Make sure Bantu is in your party as he is crucial for recruiting Tiki.
  • Tiki is initially weak but highly valuable against Medeus, thanks to her growth potential and unique abilities.
  • Bring strong lance-wielders due to the presence of numerous Mercenaries and Heroes.

2. Overview:

  • Prioritize defeating Thieves before they escape with essential sphere items.
  • Three chambers are guarded by Hunters with 15 Speed; Pegasus Knights are effective against them.
  • A formidable Sniper, with 18 Speed, is in the upper right chamber; use Longbows for ranged damage or attack him at close range.
  • The most significant threats are a Hero and a Mercenary near the boss, both armed with Killing Edges.
  • Exercise caution when opening any doors due to enemy presence.
  • The Bullion XL obtained in this chapter makes up one of the last big payouts.
  • Keep 18750G saved for stat boosters available in the secret shops in Chapters 21 and 24.

3. Items of Interest:

  • Lightsphere: Negates terrain advantages. The northwesternmost Thief drops this item upon defeat.
  • Starsphere: Prevents weapon wear-down, ideal for characters with personal magic or powerful forged weapons. Found in the chest in the northernmost chamber.
  • Geosphere: Inflicts damage on all units but is considered less useful. Found in left chest of middle-right chamber.
  • Both the Lightsphere and Starsphere will be lost in later chapters; use them while you can.

4. Boss Encounter: Tiki

  • No combat needed for recruitment; talk to her with Bantu.
  • Tiki wields a Divinestone, more potent than standard "fire" ones, despite the nerfing of the Manakete class in this remake.
  • Give Tiki the Seraph Robe obtained in this chapter to increase her survivability and plan on leveling her up until her HP > 2 x (50 - Defense). This will prepare her well for the battle against Medeus.
