Lumel is tasked with taking care of Marth and his band at Macedon's borders to ensure Rucke's coup d'état is successful, but ultimately winds up defeated after a fierce battle.

||Take this! Ridersbane!! I'll show you the horrors of the Macedonian dracoknights!
— Lumel, in Mystery of the Emblem.
- Likely due to his intense difficulty in the original, Lumel doesn't move on the easier difficulties of Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, and on all difficulties no longer carries a Ridersbane, making things easier for cavalry.
- Due to this, Lumel's battle quote has been changed to no longer reference his Ridersbane.
