The Wolf Beil (Japanese: ヴォルフバイル Wolf Beil) is an axe which is exclusive to Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. It is the starting personal weapon of Hector, one of the game's three protagonists. It functions as an axe version of the Rapier, being both an anti-cavalry and anti-armor weapon, and follows the usual stat pattern for axes in that while it is heavier and less accurate than the Rapier, its significantly improved might gives Hector greater damage output with it compared to what Eliwood can do with Rapiers, especially when targeting cavalry and armored units.
