“ | Now, which...one...first? Wait! Hold it! There are some nasty ones mixed in with the rest. Mustn't get one of them. Might ruin my sword's appetite. You don't mind do you? If I do it this way? | ” | — Jerme |

Jerme (Japanese: ジュルメ ) is a Black Fang commander hired to guard an ancient castle, and one of two potential bosses of chapter 25 (27 Hector) of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade; Jerme is the boss should the player's possible Hero Crest users be stronger than the player's potential Guiding Ring users. A former member of the Four Fangs, Jerme was demoted from that status due to Nergal's influence.[1] Jerme and his squad are deployed in an effort to stall Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, and their army for time in an effort to ensure Prince Zephiel's assassination goes off without a hitch as well as protect the stolen Fire Emblem, but ultimately fails and is defeated. Regardless of whether he is even fought by the player, Jerme dies some time after the player army embarks toward Zephiel's side, and his quintessence is harvested offscreen.
Jerme is one of the bosses remanifested as morphs by Nergal in the final chapter; his morph is paired with Ursula's in the southwestern room, the fifth one opened; the player's army eventually defeat Jerme's morph as well as all of the other remanifested morphs in their quest to defeat Nergal.

Trivia
- In the pre-release build, Jerme was a Swordmaster.
- Jerme is the same level as Jaffar when the latter joins (who is also an Assassin).
- In the GBA Fire Emblem games, Jerme is the only enemy Assassin.
- Jerme has Silencer as an innate ability, but he has no way of activating the skill in battle due to wielding a magic sword in both of his encounters. This was likely done for gameplay balance, due to the instant-death nature of the skill.
