Comparing against their performance at the mock battle of the Great Tree Moon, the students have grown significantly. It is clear that this is a result of your guidance.

Plot

The Officers Academy is approaching the traditional Battle of the Eagle and Lion, a three way mock battle based on a historical battle between Adrestia and Faerghus that resulted in Faerghus earning its independence. As a result of her injuries sustained in her fight with the Death Knight, Manuela elects not to participate; Hanneman follows suit since his rival will not be in the battle. They tell Byleth to feel free to participate, confident in their students' progress. Byleth spends the month preparing their students, and the day eventually comes to make their way to Gronder Field. A massive three-way battle ensues between the houses, and Byleth and their house emerge victorious. Afterwards, the house leaders decide to hold a feast to celebrate the battle, hoping that they will never have to come to blows legitimately. Later that night, Byleth's students approach them and praise and thank them for their work as their teacher. As the month draws to a close, Rhea and Seteth reveal that abnormal occurrences are going on at Remire Village and that next month's mission will be to investigate.

Strategy

Main articles: Field of the Eagle and Lion/Battle of the Eagle and Lion (Black Eagles), Battle of the Eagle and Lion (Blue Lions), and Battle of the Eagle and Lion (Golden Deer)

You unlock your first paralogue chapters around this time, so definitely take some time to complete them. For the fishing tournament, your goal is to catch the Teutates Herring, which will have a red, gold, or purple shadow; after catching the herring, you should also take the time to spend your remaining Tournament Bait on large blue shadows for a chance to catch Teutates Loaches for some extra professor experience. Lastly, it is suggested to have the motivation of your students as high as possible at the end of the month, as the upcoming month begins with an instruct day.
