The combat forecast is a gameplay feature in the Fire Emblem series, first appearing in Mystery of the Emblem.
In earlier games, it displays stats useful for battle (attack speed, avoid, hit, attack, defense/resistance, etc.), allowing the player toncalculate out the battle stats. From The Binding Blade onward, it instead shows the already calculated battle stats, such as damage to be dealt or whether the unit can double attack. Prior Shadow Dragon, the classic combat forecast menu is able to be chosen in the options menu. In the 3DS games, a simplified menu is shown if simplified GUI is selected in the options menu, along with simplifying character stat screens.
