Ladyblade
The Ladyblade (Japanese: レディソード Lady Sword) is a sword which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. It is designed specifically for use by female units. It is usable only by women in Mystery and its remake, New Mystery of the Emblem, and while any sword-wielding unit is able to use it in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it has only half of its potential might if a man uses it.

For women, the Ladyblade is a consistently good option at any point in the games, having great power, accuracy, and weight, and only requiring the minimum proficiency in swords to wield. Certain games give it additional useful effects, such as its effectiveness against Thieves, Brigands, Pirates, and Barbarians in Mystery of the Emblem, and its combat arts in Shadows of Valentia that allow its user to launch attacks with magic and brave effects.

Inflicts Spd-5. Unit attacks twice. (Even if foe initiates combat, unit attacks twice.) Calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. 【Canto (2)】 After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move 2 space(s). (Unit moves according to movement type. Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. Only highest value applied. Does not stack. After moving, if a skill that grants another action would be triggered (like with Galeforce), Canto will trigger after the granted action. Unit's base movement has no effect on movement granted. Cannot warp (using skills like Wings of Mercy) a distance greater than unit would be able to move with normal Canto movement.) |
