The Inner Sanctum is a dungeon appearing in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and is accessed through downloadable content. The Inner Sanctum is part of the second series of DLC releases.

This dungeon was first made available on May 2, 2017 in Japan, May 25, 2017 in North America and Europe, and May 26, 2017 in Australia and New-Zealand.

In this dungeon, rare items such as the Star Shards can be obtained either by enemies' drops or by breaking the pots.

Description

Dangerous foes lurk in the depths of the Astral Temple, but so do in-game items of incredible value. Will you take the leap?

Gameplay

This dungeon can be accessed with either Alm's or Celica's party. There are several items to be found in its depths with some of them being exclusive to it. An hermit inside the Inner Sanctum will give a Star Jacinth in exchange of the twelve Star Shards and a Black Pearl.
