Restores 10 HP every turn.
The Soothing Sword (Japanese: いやされる剣 Healing Sword) is an uncommon and unusual sword debuting in Fire Emblem Awakening. It can be equipped and allow the wielder to restore 10 HP at the start of a turn.
- The sword's design appears to be inspired by the Rod of Asclepius, a Greek symbol associated with a god of healing.
- According to notes on the weapon's concept artwork in The Art of Fire Emblem Awakening, only the tip of the sword is sharpened and the rest of it is dull. Additionally, the dull part of the blade has spells of revival inscribed on it. The snake around the blade is made of bronze.
