Vague Katti
|
Vague is the French word for "wave". Although the sword's name could be referring to the modern English adjective referring to something that is unclear, this less-than-flattering meaning seems unlikely in context. Katti is a diminutive abbreviation of "katana", previously used by the series with the Mani Katti and Sol Katti.

ヴァーグ・カティ

Romanized as Vaguekatti in its internal file name in Radiant Dawn. In Path of Radiance, its file name instead calls it Watou, the Japanese name of the Wo Dao, another distinctly katana-like sword.
