— Oskar

Oskar (Japanese: オゾット Hosotte) is an unplayable major antagonist originating from Fire Emblem Warriors. He is the king of Gristonne, and the father of its prince, Darios.

Fire Emblem Warriors

Role

Oskar appears very late in the game, only after Lianna and Rowan return to Aytolis to liberate it from Gristonne and the monsters. Oskar wishes to take Velezark's might for himself and become all-powerful.

Oskar's story presence is extremely short lived despite starting the entire conflict and using Darios for furthering his goals. He is killed the chapter after he is introduced, to serve as a substitute sacrifice in place of Yelena when she is rescued, leaving him with very little dialogue or story presence. He also remains unfought by the player due to only appearing in two cutscenes.

Personality

Oskar's extremely limited presence provides little insight into his true character. Despite harmonious relations with Aytolis in recent years[1] he does not appear to regret invading the country or desiring the power of Velezark at all. He expects absolute obedience from Darios, and is surprised when Darios impales him with his sword, making the nature of their family relationship unclear. Oskar's non-reaction to Darios's possessed state makes it unclear if he had even realized Darios was under Velezark's control at all.
