Chrom and Robin (male) confront Validar, declaring that they will overcome fate. They are able to defeat Validar, and Chrom proclaims victory. This proves brief however, as another Robin (female) appears who is possessed by Grima. She explains this and asks for her counterpart to join her. When the first Robin doesn't, she instead decides to claim the power for herself. Chrom then challenges the possessed Robin and defeats her. Now free from Grima's control, the second Robin apologizes for her actions. Chrom tell her she can still fix the damage, to which Robin decides she will fight alongside them. Chrom then declares that the war is over and that the future is a bright one.
The Ylisseans go to the Dragon's Table to retrieve the Emblem, but the ritual to resurrect Grima is already under way. They break through and head for the altar.
