Emblems (Japanese: 紋章士 Emblem) are a spiritual being and class introduced in Fire Emblem Engage. They are the spirits of powerful beings from other worlds—the protagonists and important characters in the Fire Emblem series—that reside in Emblem Rings. Emblems serve as the main driving force behind the plot of Engage, and provide a myriad of benefits to any who wears their rings. During certain paralogue chapters, Emblems will serve as bosses to test Alear and their army in order to strengthen the bonds between them. Each Emblem has a unique personal class with its own distinct set of stats, weapons, and unit types, though all fall under the name "Emblem".
