Budding Talent/Script
A doctor named Sean offers medicine to two ailing villagers while his son, Jean, brings him a pot of tea. Another villager then comes up to them with news that monsters are attacking the village. Sean urges Jean to hide while he protects the village's clinic, though Jean has his reservations regarding this. Alear arrives to find the Corrupted attacking, and immediately commands their army to defend the village from them. Despite his father's pleas, Jean remains outside to aid the villagers, and Sean relents, allowing his son work.
Alear's army succeeds in defending the village, and Jean and his family give their thanks. Alear praises Jean's performance and announced themself as the Divine Dragon, which the family is shocked by. After they explain their goal to stop Sombron, Jean asks to join their army to serve as a doctor. Sean objects, but Alear gives permission, so he eventually relents, but urges his son to come home safely.
