The Sentinels/Script
Alear and their army arrive in the Tullah Desert region of Solm. Alear initially suggests heading straight to the palace before the Four Hounds reach it, but Ivy informs them that the Four Hounds have previously failed to gain anything from their visits to Solm. Ivy also tells them about the Emblem Ring that was entrusted to Solm: the Ring of the Radiant Hero. The army soon gets lost in the desert. Ivy asks Diamant and Alfred if they have visited Solm before, but they both reply that they would not know how to reach the palace from their current position. As the group continues to wander, a young man named Fogado comes up to help them, introducing himself as the captain of the Sentinels. When Alear introduces themself as the Divine Dragon, Fogado is briefly flustered before coming to his senses. Alear asks him for directions to the palace, which he obliges to give them.
Before they make their way there, however, Fogado informs them that he needs to complete a mission of defeating Corrupted in the nearby area, which Alear replies to by offering to join him. The group heads out to find Fogado's retainers—Pandreo and Bunet—surrounded by Corrupted. After Pandreo is left dumbstruck by the presence of the Divine Dragon, Alear and the others begin to clear the region of the Corrupted. Once the mission is completed, Fogado begins to lead the group to the palace. Alfred and Diamant then tell Alear that, when they visited Solm years ago, the only royalty they met was its queen Seforia, and neither its princess nor prince were to be seen. Alfred theorizes that the two may have been kept hidden, which leaves him suspicious about the royal family. The army arrives in Solm Palace, and Fogado enters its gates very casually, which perplexes Alear and the others. Fogado then reveals himself to be the prince of Solm, and brings the others to Seforia, his mother.
Meanwhile in Elusia, Veyle receives news of Alear's army from the Four Hounds. As the five converse, Veyle explains her plan: she would let Alear and company gain Solm's Emblem Ring, so that they might snatch it and the others from them at the same time. Suddenly, Veyle nearly collapses, stating that she has been "awake for too long" and must sleep. She then gives Zephia her instructions.
Beginning log
