Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Panette is the physical juggernaut of Engage, sporting colossal strength and HP stats that will easily eclipse those of your other units, and her amazing strength growth and the high might of axes lets tear through enemies with ease. She will consistently be one of the strongest damage dealers in the player's army, capable of dealing heavy blows to even armored units, and outright one-shotting some frailer classes. While she possesses fairly mediocre speed along with a poor growth, she will still gain enough to avoid being doubled by all but the fastest of enemies, and might even double some of the slowest ones. Her immense HP pool also helps her soak damage well despite her subpar defensive stats, and providing her boosts from emblems or other outside sources can allow her tank more easily and retaliate with heavy damage.
Panette's other claim to fame is her personal skill, Blood Fury, which boosts her critical hit rate by 10 when she is below max HP, which makes her an amazing candidate for crit fishing. A forged Killer Axe with a +Crit engraving combined with the Wrath skill obtained from the Ike Emblem (who also packs Resolve and Laguz Friend to aid in her survivability) can allow Panette to easily reach crit rates in the high 80s and 90s after being damaged, if not 100%, letting her easily destroy enemies in a single hit. Further emblem skills can be added to aid in the reliability of this build, such as Vantage+ from Leif and Hold Out from Roy, allowing Panette to be exposed in the frontlines at low HP without as much fear.
While Berserker is a fine enough class for Panette to run for the entire game if one wishes, reclassing her to Warrior or Wyvern Knight can also be excellent options. Warriors have slightly superior stats and growths all around as well as having access to bows, which gives Panette an additional ranged option compared to only Tomahawks and also fills a niche of being a Backup unit with a bow, letting provide chain attacks from several spaces away if equipped with a Longbow. Wyvern Knight's flight helps her boost her mobility substantially and offers an increase in bulk as well as a secondary weapon type, which can be useful if forced facing several sword enemies. Regardless of what the player chooses, Panette can grow to become an excellent unit even with minimal investment. Players who train her past her admittedly poor start in her join chapter will be handsomely rewarded with an absolute powerhouse of a character, capable of chewing through boss revival stones and becoming a staple frontline attacker.
Personality and character
She speaks in a very polite manner and has elegant mannerisms. She is fond of obake and insects.[1]
