The Lance Fighter (Japanese: ランスファイター Lance Fighter) is a base infantry class which debuted in Fire Emblem Engage. The class exclusively wields lances. Compared to its sword- and axe-wielding counterparts, the Lance Fighter possesses a more balanced stat spread, with its HP and strength being superior to the Sword Fighter's, but less than the Axe Fighter's. The Lance Fighter additionally has the highest dexterity, defense, and magic among the three. The class is comparable to the Soldier and Spear Fighter of previous games.

The Lance Fighter may promote to either the Halberdier or the Royal Knight.
